The Adventures of Puss in Boots fifth season premiered on July 28th, 2017 with 13 new episodes.
Description[]
After the defeat of the blood wolf, a mysterious portal opens up, along with is brand new characters.
With the portal to the Netherworld wide open, Puss, Dulcinea and their fellow San Lorenzans must horde off a stream of monsters wreaking havoc in town.
Together, along with the Junior Puss Squad, they swing into action as they battle these creatures and the mysterious force behind them, travel to the mystical Netherworld, and try to save San Lorenzo from destruction.

- Season 5 would continue this trend with the exception of its finale episodes.
- Just as the previous season, this season also has full fledged story arcs spanning multiple episodes.
- The first arc spans from episodes 10 and 11, where the townsfolk are systemically attacked by Netherworld creatures under the influence of the Blind King.
- The final story arc spans for the final two episodes, entailing a team going to the Netherworld to defeat the Bling King, restoring the Tiny Queen and closing the portal.
